Gasket Cutting Machine
Digitally cut rubber, cork, silicone, graphite and sealing gasket materials for industrial maintenance and custom production.
Get a Free Sample Cut Send Material DetailsFrom Material Test to Production
Oscillating knife cutting removes die cost for prototypes, short runs and frequent shape changes.
Material and Thickness
Send material type, thickness, density/hardness and application details.
Tool Recommendation
RIGO engineers test cutting tool, speed, depth and holding method.
Machine Configuration
Choose table size, feeding, camera, tools, vacuum and component brands.
Better for Custom Orders and Small Batches
These applications often involve frequent shape changes, sample orders and mixed materials.
| Buyer Need | RIGO CNC Advantage |
|---|---|
| No die cost | Cut directly from digital files. |
| Fast sample changes | Update drawings without making new molds. |
| Cleaner edge | Cold knife cutting avoids smoke and burning on many flexible materials. |
| Material savings | Nesting software helps reduce waste. |
Material, Tool and Production Checks
Use these points to prepare a real sample test before quotation. RIGO will confirm the final tool and configuration from your actual material.
Material Examples
- rubber sheet
- silicone
- cork
- graphite sheet
- non-asbestos gasket material
Thickness Range
Typical gasket work should be tested by material hardness and thickness, especially when small holes or narrow bridges are required.
Recommended Tools
Oscillating knife is the normal starting point. Drag knife may fit thin materials; punching or routing should be considered for repeated holes depending on the drawing.
Vacuum Requirement
Flat sheet holding is important. Small parts may need proper bridge design, vacuum zoning or tab strategy.
Common Production Issues
Common issues include material stretching, small-hole deformation, edge burrs, repeated design changes and low-volume custom orders.
Finished Products
Finished products include flange gaskets, sealing pads, maintenance parts, insulation pads and custom rubber components.
What to Send Before Quotation
Send material name, thickness, Shore hardness if available, hole size, smallest feature and DXF/PDF drawing.
Is CNC cutting better than gasket dies?
For prototypes, maintenance parts and short runs, CNC cutting avoids die cost and supports fast drawing changes.
Can it cut small gasket holes?
Small features depend on material hardness, tool diameter, blade condition and holding. A sample test is required.
Need a tested machine configuration?
Send your material, thickness, drawing and daily output. RIGO engineers will recommend the suitable machine, tools and options.
