Why RIGO Is Different

Machine Factory + Foam Cutting Experience + Flexible Configuration

RIGO is not only a machine supplier. We build 1625 CNC cutters, use them for foam processing, and help buyers choose the right configuration for their budget and production needs.

We Build the Machine

RIGO supplies 1625 CNC foam cutting machines with modular tools, vacuum table, motion components and software options.

We Cut Foam Ourselves

Our own foam cutting work helps us understand real issues such as material movement, foam compression, pocket milling and edge quality.

We Match the Right Setup

Through our factory and trusted partner network, RIGO can match different component brands and price levels for different buyers.

Real Foam Cutting Know-How

What We Learned from Cutting Foam Ourselves

Because RIGO also processes foam inserts, our recommendations are based on real cutting problems, not only catalog parameters.

Foam Holding

Porous or soft foam may need stronger vacuum, proper zoning and cutting path adjustment to keep the sheet stable.

Knife vs Milling

Profile cutting can use EOT or pneumatic knife, while slots, pockets and stepped cavities usually need a milling tool.

Density Changes

EVA, EPE, PU foam and sponge behave differently, so speed, blade depth and tool pressure should be tested before quotation.

Daily Production

For real production, table size, nesting workflow, dust handling, tool changing and operator training matter as much as the machine price.

Tool Options

Configure the 1625 for Your Foam Type

Foam density, thickness and finished shape determine whether knife cutting, pneumatic cutting, milling or a combined tool setup is recommended.

400W Electric Oscillating Tool

400W Electric Oscillating Tool

Best for medium/high-density EVA foam, rubber foam and clean profile cutting.

Power: 400W; amplitude around 5mm; suitable foam thickness depends on density.
Pneumatic Oscillating Tool

Pneumatic Oscillating Tool

Recommended for thicker EPE, EVA, EPS and sponge materials where stronger vertical vibration is needed.

Requires compressed air around 0.65MPa; amplitude around 10mm; foam cutting up to 120mm by material.
Milling Tool

Milling Tool

For engraving, slotting and 3D pocket cutting on EPE/EVA foam packaging inserts.

0.8-1.5kW optional; high-speed spindle range around 24,000-40,000 rpm.
EOT + Milling Combination

EOT + Milling Combination

For foam packaging factories that need both profile cutting and pocket milling on one 1625 table.

Most suitable for custom inserts, tool cases, electronics packaging and sample rooms.

Buyer FAQ

Questions Before Buying a 1625 Foam Cutting Machine

Review common questions about foam thickness, tool choice, component options, sample testing and file workflow.

Is the RIGO-1625 suitable for foam packaging inserts?

Yes. The 1600 x 2500 mm working area is commonly used for EVA, EPE and PU foam insert production, especially for custom packaging, case inserts and sample rooms.

Can the machine cut 100-120 mm foam?

It can be configured for thick foam, but the result depends on foam density, hardness and tool choice. Pneumatic oscillating tool or EOT + milling combination is usually tested first.

Can I choose Mitsubishi, Yaskawa, Delta, Schneider, Omron or Hiwin components?

Yes. Component brands can be configured according to your budget, service preference and market requirement. The quotation should clearly list the selected brands.

Do I need milling for foam inserts?

If you only cut outside profiles, a knife tool may be enough. If you need pockets, slots, stepped cavities or 3D foam insert shapes, add a milling tool.

Can I see a test before paying?

Yes. Send your material, thickness and drawing first. RIGO can test the cutting result and recommend the suitable tool combination before quotation.

What files can the machine use?

Common CAD/vector files such as DXF, AI, PLT and CDR are normally supported. Confirm your exact workflow before ordering.
